Kurseong originally known as ‘KHARSANG’ in Lepcha language is also known as the 'Land of White Orchid'. Kurseong is a hill station Located at an altitude of 1458 meters (4864 ft) and in between Siliguri and Darjeeling.It is just 30 km from Siliguri and Darjeeling is just 26km away. It is Famous for its waterfalls, temples and Buddhist gompas apart from the excellent view that the place provides. Kurseong enjoys milder and pleasant weather most times of the year. The place is aptly called Kurseong which means 'The land of white orchid”. The area is also full of beautiful tea gardens, and year-round vegetation on the hill slopes.

Great place to stay, for family, couples or friends. Cozy rooms, well maintained and clean, a very beautiful view from the spacious Terrace. The staff is the family that owns the property and they are very polite and hospitable. Parking can be tricky if you have a car, but it can easily fit 3-5 motorcycles.
The Dewdrop Homestay is owned by Sujit & Sanchita Mukherjee. We had an awesome stay there . The location is very good , our room had a fantastic view of The Kanchenjunga. We were also very fortunate to get a view of the beautiful sunset from the terrace of our room. The hospitality by the hosts was an icing on the cake. We were so welcome from the moment we stepped into the premises , not once did we feel out of place. The homemade food which was always fresh and served hot was beyond our expectations. There is a lot of scope for improvement of the rooms and bathrooms which I’m sure will happen in due course. We would highly recommend stay at Dewdrop Homestay.
